Uniform Update

20 March

Click for More Info

A shipment of new Calvary black jackets has been delayed and is due to arrive at the end of April with further deliveries during Term 2. Below are options to ensure students stay warm in the cooler weather.

If you have not had the chance to purchase the Calvary black jacket, please refer to these options while we await shipment.

All students:  Calvary black jacket to be worn with either sport or formal uniform. While new stock arrives, students who do not have a Calvary black jacket may wear the Calvary purple jumper or a plain black jumper (no logos, print or hoodie) with the formal uniform.

The Calvary green sports jacket may only be worn with the sports uniform.

Should this be a problem for you, please contact your Head of School to seek a solution to this temporary situation.

Head of School, Zoe O'Donnell

Dear Parents and Carers,

This afternoon at our assembly, we were able to formally acknowledge students who have met the criteria to be College Leaders.

It is fitting that we also spent some time reflecting on our three student expectations of behaviour which are Be Fair, Be Kind and Be my Best Self. Developing our students’ leadership skills through service, is an important outworking of these behaviour expectations and I excited to see each of these students grow in their leadership journey.

There will be another opportunity for more students to apply for College Leader next term - if your child is interested, please start to help them brainstorm a service initiative that they could commit to with consistency to demonstrate their upstanding character.

Drop Off Reminders

Parents are not to park in bays reserved for Kingdom Kids parents. The Kingdom Kids parking bays are located directly outside Kingdom Kids.

Parking options for drop off and pick up are quick drop off/pick up (lane that runs adjacent to Calvary Community Centre building) and the Western carpark.

Book Fair Update

Thank you to everyone who supported our recent Book Fair. It was a HUGE success with over $2500 raised in commission to stock our library with new books and resources for our student's.

A BIG thank you also goes out to our parent volunteers who helped run a successful Book Fair. If you would love to help and support our library we are seeking volunteers to cover the new books purchased with our Book Fair credits, in order to get them onto our library shelves as quickly as possible. Please email Sarah Cosgriff (sarah.cosgriff@calvarycc.qld.edu.au) if you would like to help with book contacting or pop in to the library.

Congratulations goes to Annabelle in Stage 3 who guessed the correct amount of book worms in the jar at Book Fair. Her guess of 258 was correct! Thank you to everyone who participated.

Easter Chapel

Our Easter Chapel will take place on Thursday 3 April at the CCC from 2.30pm. Parents and families are warmly invited to join us for this special occasion. We hope to see you there.
