Award Service Montage
Student Photo Montage
At Calvary, we encourage every student to live out our College expectations: be kind, be fair, and be your best self, guided by Micah 6:8, “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” In Junior School, being your best self can look different for every child—trying your hardest in class, encouraging a friend on the playground, showing courage in swimming lessons, or using your talents in music or sport.
We also know that many of our students are showing their best selves beyond the classroom—whether that’s playing in a weekend sport team, serving at church, helping at home, or caring for a sibling. To celebrate this, our upcoming Awards Assembly will feature the “Living Micah 6:8 Photo Challenge.” This will give us the opportunity to acknowledge all the wonderful ways our children are growing in kindness, fairness, and faith.
If you would like your child to be included, please send a photo of them “Living Micah 6:8” to the
Please note to use your child's first and last name when adding your photo.
We look forward to celebrating together how God is shaping each of our students to shine brightly in all areas of their lives.

Head of Community & Wellbeing, Carbrook Junior School - Zoe O'Donnell
Dear Parents and Carers,
Term 4 is upon us and we want to make sure you are ready and prepared for all the moments of celebration and community that will happen over the course of the next 8 weeks. Below is a date saver- please add these dates to your family diary. More information will follow for each of these events. LINK
Term 4 is upon us and our students are utilising time in their weekly dance lessons to prepare for celebration. Our message of “I will praise him” is echoed in the celebration theme, in our assemblies and even on our celebration t-shirt. If you haven’t yet sent in a photo of your child/ren showing how they praise, please do so: Drop Box Link. This will contribute to our awards assembly, where we celebrate each of our students in different ways.
I would like to highlight the “invitation to parent webinar” button included in this week communications. This provides information about a free session hosted by Clinical psychologist Dr Danielle Einstein, to unpack the impending world-first social media ban for under-16s, which is kicking in this December and the bigger picture of digital wellbeing.

Kindness First – New Blog by Mr Josh Wilson
In a world where social media often rewards outrage over empathy, how do we teach our young people to respond with compassion, even when they disagree?
Deputy Principal Josh Wilson reflects on a recent event that prompted deep conversations with our students about grace, kindness, and seeing others through God’s eyes. It’s a timely reminder of the community we strive to be.
