Why We’re Back with Inspire (but this time, they’re shorts)
03 April 2025

In 2023, we launched the Inspire Series — short video stories that gave a window into the lives of Calvary students who were doing amazing things. From standout achievements to quiet dedication, the goal was simple: to celebrate our kids and the many different ways they shine.
This year, we’ve brought the series back with a fresh twist.
We’re calling them Inspire Shorts — 60 to 90 second stories that focus on everyday students doing what they love, whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or somewhere in between. They’re quicker, more frequent, and a little more raw — a snapshot of who our students are, rather than a polished highlight reel.
Our students are doing incredible things every day. Not just in academics or co-curriculars, but in how they show character, lead by example, and bring kindness to their communities. These stories are all around us — and we’re here to capture them, one short at a time.
To kick things off, we started with Max.
Max is a Year 7 student who gets involved in just about everything. Max plays futsal, volleyball, and netball; sings in the choir and plays guitar; and still manages to be one of the most grounded, likeable kids around.
Max is not chasing attention — he’s just being himself. Max is the kind of kid who gives things a go, treats people well, and brings a good vibe wherever he goes. And that’s exactly why we chose Max.
Max represents what Inspire Shorts is all about - real students doing life with passion, humility, and heart.
Stay tuned, there’s more to come.
