A note from the Head of Middle and Senior School (Mr Wilson)
Dear Parents and Carers
This week our Year 9 cohort have been at Chinchilla serving the local community and linking in with Farm Angels (one of our major charity partners). Along with a range of long-life item donations for the Farm Angels organisation, our school community has raised nearly $11,000 for Farm Angels to give to people in need. The connection with Farm Angels was made through our College Farm (thanks Farmer H and Mrs Bullas) and has continued to grow each year (no pun intended…). Our annual trip to Chinchilla (Farm Angels base of operations) started last year and has provided our students with a valuable connection to rural Australia and an authentic opportunity to roll up their sleeves and learn about the blessing it is to serve others. Our Year 9 Formation program is designed to prepare students for this trip and help them use their Chinchilla experience to ponder on how a life lived in Christ-like service can impact the world around us.
A quick reminder that Friday (EXO day) is free dress and our free dress uniform policy applies to this day – the easiest thing for anyone to wear is a shirt with sleeves and shorts (not short shorts). Most students will want to bring a white shirt if taking part in the colour run.
As we approach the school holidays, I pray that you and your loved ones will experience some time as a family to bond and grow closer together. I pray that our Lord extends a blessed and peaceful break to all of our students and their families.
Mr Josh Wilson

Showcase - Journey Through Time
Congratulations to all students, staff, and alumni on an outstanding performance at Showcase on Saturday evening. Your performances were polished and captured the essence of celebrating past showcases. It was awesome to have the massed items at the end incorporating the Alumni and staff. A special thanks to Mr Barry Warden for returning to conduct the massed pieces. Thanks also to our guest soloists for the evening, Daniel Robertson, Brent Robertson, and Lara Morton for performing with such professionalism and musicality.
