Step Up to Year 7 Information Evening
If you missed the opportunity to meet with our Head of Middle and Senior School, Mr Josh Wilson, and our Head of Year 7, Mrs Nicky O’Donnell, at the recent Year 7 Information evening, you are very welcome to catch the next presentation at the Carbrook campus on Thursday 18 May 2023.
Tuckshop Term 2, Parent Volunteers Needed!
The students have loved ordering Tuckshop each Friday. We are grateful to our parent volunteers who come to prepare and deliver all the online orders. We are building a Term 2 roster for Parent Volunteers for Tuckshop. If you have availability on Thursday afternoons from 2pm – 3pm, or can offer time on Friday mornings from 8:40am – 11:30am, please use this link to sign up for Tuckshop assistance. You can volunteer once, or as many times as you would like;
From Term 2, we are opening the café roller door and will be selling a limited Tuckshop menu to students who bring money to Happy Hens on Friday’s at first break.
Cross Country
The rainy weather created a cool backdrop to the Cross Country yesterday. We were so proud of the students participation and effort. Congratulations to our Age Champions and thank you Mr McInnes and Mr Ocana for organising a fantastic event for everyone to enjoy.
Swimming Age Champions Presentation
Just prior to the Easter Chapel next Wednesday, we will be holding a short Assembly to present our Swimming Age Champions with their medals and announce the winning Houses for the Swimming Carnival and the Cross Country. This will be held at the church auditorium at 2:00pm and Easter Chapel will commence from 2:15pm until the end of the day.
Musical Rehearsal / Funky Hair Fundraiser
The last day of term is our free dress and funky hair fundraiser. We are raising funds to support our College Compassion children. Students are asked to bring a $2 coin donation for wearing free dress with a funky, fun or interesting hairstyle. For a $5 donation, students can get their hair sprayed different colours.
Students involved in the Musical can wear free dress and funky hair. Ensemble and Lead cast members (no backstage or sound/lighting students yet) will be catching a bus to and from the Carbrook campus for a rehearsal. Students will arrive back at Springwood before 3:00pm pick up. NB. Please do not order Tuckshop for this day.
I can’t believe we have already reached the final week of Term 1. There are some stage – specific events on next week; Prep Fun Run, Stage 1 Community showcase and the Year 6 Canberra Information Zoom meeting.

School Locker - Closed Monday 27 March
We've been notified by our Uniform provider, School Locker, that their Loganholme store will be closed to do a stock-take on Monday 27 March 2023.
We look forward to a strong and fun end to the first term of the year.
