There have been many highlights this term. The students have shone in sporting arenas, co-curricular competitions, performing arts and in their learning. We have seen and felt the support of the community that surrounds them, particularly at the Discovery Expo earlier this week. Thank you!

Showcase

Showcase last weekend was an incredible display of individual instrumental performances, ensembles, and dance performances. Calvary’s Performing Arts program has a lot to offer. Tuckshop Term 4

We are looking for parent volunteers for our Term 4 Tuckshop roster. Whether you can help out weekly or only once or a few times in the term – it all helps!  We need helpers to prepare and serve food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Prep and Stage 1 Swimming

Our Prep and Stage 1 swimming carnival will be held next term. In the lead up to this, we want our little ones to feel safe and develop confidence in the water. Next term all students in Prep and Stage 1 will complete their swimming lesson program. Swimming caps and excursion bags are available from the office. The swimming schedule has been sent to Prep and Stage 1 families to refer to, and is available in the Sport section below.

Term 4 - Bell Time Changes

Springwood Break times will be changing in Term 4.  Please see below the daily schedule:

• • Morning bell: 8.30am to head to class / 8.35am Start of Day - Roll Marking
  • 1st Break: 11.00am to 11.30am
  • 2nd Break: 1.00pm to 1.50pm (These break times still include supervised eating time as well as fruit snack mid morning.)
  • End of Day:  3.00pm

Group Photo Day

Tuesday 8 October, Week 2 of Term 4, is the Springwood Campus Group Photo Day.  The schedule has been set up to facilitate all Formal Uniform photos to be taken before First Break.  We ask that all students involved come to school in their Formal Uniforms and, if required, change into their PE Uniform after their photo.  A schedule will be distributed in the first week of Term 4.  Group Photo Information Letter

Colour Fun Run

Term 3 ends with a splash of colour at tomorrow afternoon’s Colour Fun Run. Mr Mac has the details below.

Kids Life Plus: Discovery 3 Day Holiday Event

These coming holidays, the Kids Life team at Real Life Christian Church is hosting Kids Life Plus: Discovery!  Come along and experience a 'space exploration-themed' three days of fun as children discover real life in Jesus and how to share this with others.  This holiday event is for children in Prep through to Year 6 and runs from the 16th-18th of September from 9am-3pm!

Please note, headbands and sunglasses will be provided for students.  All students are welcome to participate, if they wish, registration is not mandatory.
