Dear Parents and Carers
Wow, what a week. We have enjoyed time preparing for celebration and expressing our joy through song and dance. My favourite day is always the day of celebration. I love seeing the students cheering each other on, joining into each other’s dances and generally enjoying each other’s company. Whether celebration is your child’s “thing”, or it calls them to stretch out of their comfort zone, I trust you sat back and watched feeling proud of what have achieved over this year. I certainly did.
End of the Year Reminders
As we draw to the end of the year, please be reminded of a few house keeping matters;
- If your child would like to bless peers with cards etc for Christmas, please send these in next week only. Prep and Stage 1 teachers will help facilitate handing out for you.
- Class celebrations for end of year are scheduled for next Tuesday, please see individual stage communication for details.
- Christmas Chapel will be on from 2.15pm in the CCC next Tuesday 5 December, all welcome!
- Class placements for 2025 will be confirmed early January, when you child will receive an email from their child’s teacher.
2025 Booklist Reminder
Just a reminder that 2025 booklists can be ordered online (if using Campion) up until 11 December. You can have them delivered to your house, or opt to collect them from the Carbrook campus Green Room (at the CCC) on Friday 17 January, 2025.
Free Dress Day
Please see our upcoming free dress day on Wednesday 6 December- students are invited to wear Christmas attire that fits with the guidelines. Areas to note are; girls wearing shorts must ensure that they are long enough, a good way to check this is to make sure shorts are longer than finger tips when arms are straight by sides. Please also ensure foot wear is fully enclosed (no crocs) and clothing is sunsafe.
Semester 2 Reports
Student reports for Semester 2 will be available for parents to download from Parent Lounge via the app or website, from 5pm Friday 6 December. Please see further information in the links below.
