Stepping Up to the next Stage

Tomorrow morning, those Year 6 students continuing into Year 7 at Calvary are attending their final transition day.

All students, Prep – Year 5, as well as our new students attending Calvary in 2025, will be stepping up to their next Stage for the morning session. This session will be a chance for students to ask questions, make friends and feel comfortable in their 2025 stage environment. As usual, all information about 2025 classes and teachers will be emailed to parents in early January.

From 3:40pm, 2025 Year 7 parents have been invited to attend an important information session.

2025 Booklist Reminder

Just a reminder that 2025 booklists can be ordered online up until 11 December. You can have them delivered to your house, or opt to collect them from the Carbrook campus Green Room (at the CCC) on Friday 17 January, 2025.

Semester 2 Reports

Student reports for Semester 2 will be available for parents to download from Parent Lounge via the app or website, from 5pm Friday 6 December. Please see further information in the links below.

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the incredible people in our community who volunteer their time, helping out in so many different ways. You are a blessing – both to staff and students. For all the seen and unseen, known and unknown ways that you serve and bless our school community – THANK YOU!

Celebration

We can’t wait to share our celebration story with you next Tuesday afternoon and evening. Our car park can get a little busy, so we will open up the grass area around the CCC for you to access also.
Please check back to the costume requirements and make sure you have everything ready to go before Tuesday.

Parent Letter & Costume Requirements

Also the early finish for students on Tuesday 26 November at 12.00pm is recommended for the Prep to Stage 1 students and optional for the Stage 2 & 3. Supervision will continue with quiet activities for all the students remaining at school.

• If you would like to collect your child early so that they can rest, please meet your child’s teacher at their own classroom.
• Sign out will now take place in the classroom via a sign out sheet. (not at main reception)
• If your child is going home with a friend or family member, we ask that you let the teacher know by email prior to the day.

Please note students will not need a booked seat for the Celebration session they are performing in. If they are watching a sibling Celebration, they will need a seat booked for that session.

Real Life Community Church Christmas Event

You are invited to the Real Life Church Christmas Event.

A free, family friendly event supported by various community groups and businesses. From 3:30-5:30pm, there will be food, sport, craft, a live nativity scene, and more. Followed by Carols in the evening in air conditioned comfort from 5:30-6:30pm. A great way to kick off the Christmas season on the first day of December - all are welcome!
